Top Ten Songs I'm listening to at the moment
I love music so so much. A song can bring out so much, whether it be a lyric that you relate to, or a song that reminds you of a memory, or just a piece of music that makes you feel happy and free, music is a wonderful thing. I like to believe my musical taste is quite varied, I'm always looking to expand it and listen to new bands and artists, if someone has a suggestion I will listen to it, so please if anyone has a band or song that they really enjoy or think I will enjoy please let me know and I will happily give it/them a listen. There has been quite a lot of new music released recently so I thought I'd compile a list, complete with an attached Spotify playlist, of the top ten songs I'm listening to at the moment, not all of them are new but they might be new to me and you.
1) Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time - Panic! At The Disco. Panic! just released a new album called Death of a Bachelor and it is incredible, Brendon Urie is so so talented and everyone deserves to hear this album.
2) Stressed Out - Twenty One Pilot
3) Figure Me Out - The Summer Set.
4) Stitches - Shawn Mendes. Just like everyone else I have had this song in my head since I heard it last year and I don't think i'll be forgetting it any time soon.
5) Toothbrush - DNCE. This song is just fun plus this band contains a Jonas Brother what more do you need.
6) We'll Be Okay - With Confidence
7) YOUTH - Troye Sivan. Thinking about my favourite song off Troye's album was hard. I thoroughly recommend you all go give Blue Neighbourhood a listen.
8) 16 Years - The Griswolds. I was introduced to this via a friends playlist and fell in love with it with the first listen and maybe you will too.
9) Counting The Days - Good Charlotte. I get to watch Good Charlotte support All Time Low this week and I couldn't be more ecstatic about it. This one is one of their older songs off their 2010 release Cardiology but it's still a tune.
10) Easy Enough - State Champs. I love State Champs, I saw them live last October and it was so much fun. This song is off their 2013 album, The Finer Things, their latest release Around the World and Back is also worth the listen, one of my favourites from that album is All You Are Is History.
Here is the link to the playlist on Spotify, it's only 33 minutes long so you won't even have wasted that long of your life if you end up hating every song. LISTEN.
