Hello, it is officially October meaning Autumn is now in full swing and it is about time I added a couple of items to my Autumn/Winter wardrobe, and where better to start than Primark. Whilst we were there my sister thought it would be a fun idea to do the £25 outfit challenge, so read on to find out what we brought each other.
For those of you that are unaware of what the £25 outfit challenge is, you basically have £25 to buy the other person an outfit, we also set ourselves a time limit of 20 minutes to pick out the clothes.
Lets start with the outfit I chose for my sister, Emma.
The main part of the outfit is a cream knitted jumper dress, they also did this dress in a pale pink but I thought the cream was a little more versatile. It only cost £15, which I thought was pretty well priced considering it is an entire outfit by itself. I would advise for you to get it in a smaller size than you normally would as it is quite big and it looks really nice when it's more fitted. I picked up this greyish/cream scarf with a small pearl detail on just to give the outfit a bit more of a winter feel, the scarf was £6, it's one of those scarfs that are really wide so you can use it as a mini blanket if needed. I finished the look with a pair of tights, which are £3 for a pack of three, on colder days you could always wear the jumper with leggings.
The outfit that Emma picked out for me consists of a (p)leather skirt, which was £8, a black turtle neck jumpers (£6) and a mustard yellow long line cardigan which was £8. I actually really like this outfit and can see myself wearing it and all the pieces individually all season. I truly believe that everyone should own a leather skirt, it is a wardrobe staple no matter the season, so i was really pleased to see that my sister had picked one out for me.
Since both of us are really happy with the outfits we were given, I think we are both winners but please let us know which outfit you like the best.
Whilst I was in Primark I obviously couldn't resist picking some other things out so I'm just going to do a quick little haul and tell you what I got.
So the first thing I got was a bright red bobble hat, I don't really know why I picked this out since I'm not really into bobble hats or red but it was only £2 so I thought I might as well try it, I might even grow to love it.
I also picked out a nude coloured long sleeve t-shirt, it's a really soft material, with a short zip on the back, it was only £5 and I think it will be perfect to go under dungarees or just with jeans and a jumper.
I also picked up a light blue version of the black turtle neck my sister got me as part of the £25 outfit challenge. The jumpers are really soft and cosy so perfect for Autumn.
Every time I go in to Primark I come out with a set of their false nails, this time was no different, I picked up a glossy black pair, perfect for Halloween season. Their nails are only £1 and are actually pretty good considering the low price.

Whilst on the subject of nails I also picked up their P.S. Metals nail polish in a gold shade for £1.50, and amazingly you only need one coat and the chip resistance is pretty high.
I am a 90's kid so of course I love me some hooped earrings, therefore I obviously picked up a pack of 5 gold hoops, all in varying sizes for a small price of just £1. Speaking of 90's accessories I also picked up a pack of pastel coloured chokers which were on sale for 50p.
My friend Aimee talked very highly of the Dark Chocolate coated Coconut Chips which are only £1 so of course I had to pick some up to try and I wish I had picked them up sooner because they are amazing.

The last things I brought are all make-up products. I picked up the PS...Insta Girl, Flash Photo Powder in the shade Paparazzi for £2.50, I was watching another girls Primark haul and she highly recommended this light blue setting powder so thought I would pick some up to try. i also picked up a camouflage concealer palette and a strobing highlighter cream in the shade Rose Gold, both were on sale for £1. I've always wanted to try out a highlighter cream so when I saw it for so cheap I couldn't resist.
The last item is my favourite, it is the P.S. Master Eye Palette, it was only £6 but really reminded my of the Cool Neutral palette by MAC, it contains some lovely autumnal colours and the pigmentation is amazing for such a cheap palette. It's got a mix of both matte and shimmer shades, so if you're looking for an inexpensive autumnal eye shadow paletteI highly recommend that you pick this up.
Have you seen anything in Primark recently that you would recommend or do you have any autumnal fashion advice you'd like to share?
Until next time.
