April 2017 Favourites

Hello and welcome back to another episode of 'Georgina sucks at blogging!' 

Once again this was supposed to be written and posted at the end of February but I've been a busy bee so as always I'm late. As you are probably well aware I am a huge fan of favourites hauls/posts and that is why I am here to tell you about the things I have been loving since my last favourites post. 

I'm going to start with the thing that is most likely on everyones favourites list and that is the Netflix Original series Riverdale aka a reason to drool over Cole Spouse for 43 minutes a week. I actually did't start watching it until 5 episodes had already been released, one reason being I struggle having to wait a week between an episode of anything and two, I wasn't sure if it would be my kind of programme, but then a lot of my friends were tweeting about how good it was so I decided to watch an episode and now here I am addicted and wishing for Fridays to hurry up.

As per usual I have several make-up/beauty favourites and that is probably one of the reasons I have put myself on a make-up spending ban. My first beauty favourite is Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer, I feel like I have heard every beauty blogger/YouTuber I know express their love for this concealer so when I needed to buy a new concealer I thought I might as well try it and boy am I glad I did. 

Confession: I've never really suffered from acne, yes a couple spots here and there but nothing too hard to cover up, until the other month when I woke up with the worst acne on the side of my face. I mean the fact that I'm usually too lazy to take my makeup off at night and hardly ever moisturise and this is where my next favourite comes in. Boot's Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Jelly Moisturiser absolutely saved my life. My third and final beauty favourite is the Absolute White Whitening Gel Pen, I found this in a pound store and it's so amazing. You just brush your teeth as normal and then twist the cap on the pen and brush the gel on the teeth you want whiter, keep your gums away from your teeth for 30 seconds and go on with your day.  

Like many of my friends March was Gig Month, (separate blog hopefully to come) the first gig of the month was With Confidence in Birmingham with Aimee. With Con are a super fun live band, with quite a varied audience, shoutout to the asshole 40 year old men behind us. If you haven't listened to them before I highly suggest that you take a couple minutes and do, take the time to really listen to the words, I promise you won't regret it. 

Last but not least I have chosen to add Beauty and the Beast to my favourites list. Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favourite Disney Movies and I was really excited to see the new liv action version of this classic. Like everyone I was a little apprehensive but overall I really enjoyed it, even if I couldn't see Emma Watson as anyone but Hermione Granger.
