Beauty Haul

To try and break up my tour posts I've decided to write a quick beauty haul piece. I've brought a couple of new things recently so I thought I'd tell you all what I got and do mini reviews on them.

- Sleek's Highlighting Pallette in Precious Metals (£9.99), so I borrowed Vanessa's one of these last week and just fell in love. It's so pretty and stays on all day/night. It's split in to four shades, 1) Platinum, which is used to highlight/lift your brows, 2) Antique Bronze, which is for the tops of your cheekbones, 3) Royal Gold is for the bridge of your nose and finally 4) Renaissance Gold, which is for use on your cupids bow to make your lips more prominent. I'm not going to lie when I used this I didn't know what was for what so I just threw it on my face and I still looked good so I'm hoping to be a 7/10 when I use it properly.

- Rimmel, Super Gel nail varnishes (£8.99 for a double pack of one colour and the gel top coat, or £5.99 per colour), I started a phase of going to the salon and getting nail extensions with a gel polish on top but this started to get expensive and I couldn't be bothered with the maintenance, however I love having painted nails, they make my hands feel nicer and I just feel a little more complete with a colour on my nails. I've seen this product a lot recently and since super drug had a 3 for 2 offer on today I thought I might as well try it. I brought the double pack with the colour 023 Grape Sorbet.

- Primark Metallic Tattoos, (on sale for 50p usually £1.50), this was just a sill purchase since they were so cheap. With festival season/summer just around the corner stick on tattoos are all the range again. However I suggest if you want some thats going to last the entire weekend buy them elsewhere. Maybe I'm just rubbish at applying them but I attempted to put one on and firstly it didn't all stick to my skin and second it wiped away in seconds.

Garnier, Micellar Cleansing Water (on offer for £1 in Boots), I don't really have a cleansing routine I mean half the time I don't even have the energy to take my makeup off before I go to bed, yes I know I'm an awful human, so when I was out the other day I saw this and thought I might as well give it a go. It's a simple apply to a cotton pad, wipe, and you're done, there's no waiting, no rinsing, so even the laziest of us aka me can use it, plus when the lady at the counter told me it was amazing and doesn't sting your eyes I thought she was lying but alas she was not. This products cleanses and removes makeup so there's also no need for thirty billion products.

- Primark's £1 false nail collection (£1 obviously), so this range comes in lots of different colours and patterns and comes in different nail shapes also. If you just want a quick and easy manicure and don't mind if it's not going to last days then I totally recommend this. I don't tend to use the nail glue it comes with because I don't find it to work very well so I just brought a slightly more expensive glue to apply them with but if you want to use the one that's included go ahead. I tend to personalise mine a little by painting them myself, I'm writing a short tutorial on this so look out for that.

Basically everything else i've brought recently is candles from Primark so not really beauty essentials so I'm going to leave this here, I hope you enjoyed it and if you have any beauty favourites or recommendations feel free to let me know.
