Top Ten: February 2016

Since it is now March and I was meant to write this post in February I should apologise and hurry up.       I did and brought a bunch of cool things last month so the point of this post is to let you all know my ten favourite things about February.

1) Future Hearts Tour: I've already written a post on this which you can read here if you haven't already, however I'm gonna mention it again cause it is definitely a highlight. At the beginning of the month I went to the O2 to watch All Time Low and Good Charlotte perform which was absolutely insane.

2) HALSEY BADLANDS LONDON! I keep meaning to write a post on this and I will still try and write one I'm just lacking time at the moment to do anything but work and sleep. At the end of the month I embarked on yet another glittery journey that was seeing Halsey live again at the O2 Academy in Brixton. As always it was such a fun time, I got to reunite with the Halsey Street Team and put some glitter on my face, and I refused to let the fact that weatherspoons didn't have cocktails or chicken bring me down.

3) NYX Matte Liquid Lipsticks. My social media feeds were buzzing over this NYX makeup hype and I love liquid lipsticks, especially matte ones, so when I was in London I visited the NYX counter in Selfridges and picked up a couple along with some other products and now I am riding this hype along with everyone else. They are so soft and smell SO GOOD! They don't stay on as long as I would like, but I've found is you put on a liner as well they do last a bit longer, but when they smell like they do I don't mind reapplying.

4) One weekend me and my sister has a sister bonding day in London Town and we went and watched Bend It Like Beckham in the West End, which was actually really well adapted and I enjoyed it a lot. We also continued our accidental mission of visiting every Hard Rock Cafe in the world by ticking off London and drinking some incredible cocktails at lunch time.

5) KIKO! No this is not one of the Kardashian's nicknames but the name of one of my favourite new makeup brands/stores. The makeup isn't expensive but it is quite good quality and thats always a good thing, so if you haven't heard of it before you should check it out.

6) I love a good phone case because lets be honest if I didn't use a phone case I wouldn't have a phone anymore. When I was in Selfridges I found these really cute and quirky bags by this brand called Skinny Dip and I knew they had a store on Carnaby Street so I decided to go look in there and see what that had and it turned out they had a super good sale on phone cases and I ended up buying one as well as a sticker of the letter 'G' for obvious reasons and I'm pretty much in love with it.

7) The day after the Halsey show me and Aimee had a wander around LDN and ended up at the Alice in Wonderland exhibit at The British Library, it wasn't very big but it was cute nonetheless plus it had a gift shop so it's a yes from me.

8) (this one's lame I'm sorry) Zayn released a song called PILLOWTALK and if you don't like it you're lying.

9) Okay, who doesn't like Grease? If you answered 'me' please leave we can no longer be friends. This month Grease:Live became a thing and I really enjoyed it, I mean I did't watch it live cause I watched it like four days late but still. If you haven't watched it yet I urge you to find the time and watch it at some point.

10) Fluffy Egg bath bomb from Lush. I went the the Lush on Oxford street and ended up buying multiple of these, they smell just like Snow Fairy which is like my favourite sent and they are only £2.95, so I brought a couple for myself and a couple to give as Easter gifts.

Okay those were my favourite things about February, once again I'm sorry it's late, I suck I know, but I hope you enjoyed it and I promise (maybe) that the next one will be on time.
