2017 Goals

Since I started this blog it seems to have become a tradition to write a little list of goals at the beginning of each year so here I am again for version 3. I don't tend to make New Year Resolutions, I prefer to write a list of the things I would like to do at some point in the year. I feel like New Year Resolutions are just set up to be broken by February.

- Eat less meat. I know a lot of people that have become Vegan/Vegetarian and feel so much better with in themselves. I don't know if I could cut meat completely from my diet but I definitely want to cut down and then who knows maybe I'll gradually be able to cut it out completely.

- Drink less fizzy drinks and a lot more water. Where I work fizzy drinks are so readily available and are the easiest thing to grab when it's busy and you don't have a lot of time so I tend to drink a LOT of them but I got a water infusion bottle for christmas and when we were on holiday they had fruit infused water at the pool and I ended up drinking a lot of it a) because it was f'ing hot and b) it was really nice and refreshing so hopefully being able to make this myself I'll drink more and do my teeth and body good.

- Spend more time with my friends. My job schedule makes it really hard to find time to spend time with my friends and I can go months without seeing them and it makes me really sad but this year I already have a lot of plans with my friends and I want to make so many more. I also promise to text people more cause I suck at keeping in contact.

- Go to California. Me and Aimee have been talking about planning a trip to Cali for a while now and I really really want it to happen.

- Write more. I love writing blogs I just struggle motivating myself to actually write them. I'm going to try to aim for at least two posts a month.

- Learn something new. The thing I want to do the most is speak another language, I think being able to speak multiple languages is such a talent and something that's really important especially with how multi cultural the world is. I truly regret not keeping up with the languages I learnt at school, and feel awful when I visit other countries and can't communicate with people.

2017, let's do this!
