goal
   ɡəʊl/

noun
  1. the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result.
In life I feel like it is super important to have goals, whether they be big or small I feel like everyone should have some of some sort. At the beginning of the year I wrote a list of goals for the year, some of them being silly little things and others being life changers, some of which I know I will definitely achieve, some I already have, and some that might me a little out of reach yet I am still determined to get part way to completing them.

I have this weird love for lists, to be honest I spend most of my time writing lists of things to do that I never get round to actually doing the things I'm writing the lists for. Along with my '2015 goals' list I also wrote a list of '30 things I want to do before I'm 30' and a '100 things to do before I die' both of which I'm actually yet to complete because lets be honest 100 things is a lot of things to think about. Last month I went to Urban Outfitters with a friend and found some awesome listography books that I really want to get but haven't won the lottery yet.

  • My Future Listography Book - £11.99. This is the one I want the most, the description describes the book as a journal that encourages users to envision future goals and aspirations and includes over seventy thought-provoking list topics ranging from practical lists such as, places to visit and habits to break to the more whimsical like, animals to adopts and events to time-travel to.
  • Travel Listography - £12.99. I love travelling and I wish I could do a lot more of it, most of the goals lists I have written are approximately 40% filled of places to visit.
  • 642 Things To Write About Book - £11.99. I'm not a very good writer as you can probably tell from reading my blog posts but I would love to be and I feel like this book would help. It's described as book for budding writes. It is comprised of a collection of witty, inspirational and downright outrages prompt to bring out the novelist hiding within.
I thought I'd use this post to let you know what they are and maybe why I chose some of them and then possibly when reading this blog in the future you'll see that I've achieved some of these goals. Anyway on to this list:

  1. Make a memory jar and fill it (Partly completed since I started a jar)
  2. Fill at least 3 disposable cameras
  3. Be happier within myself
  4. Save money to be able to move to London!
  5. Get a better job aka one I studied for and pays a lot better
  6. Get a Michael kiss/hand holding picture (This probably won't happen since I'm scared of rejection)
  7. FINALLY get a tattoo
  8. Exercise and eat healthier so I look and feel better
  9. Go on a roadtrip
  10. Go to karaoke
  11. Buy more clothes from thrift and charity shops
  12. Smile more in photos
  13. Get better eyebrows and make-up skills
  14. Grow my hair long again
  15. Be less scared and worried over //EVERYTHING//
  16. Buy fairy lights for my room
  17. Write a journal
  18. Start a blog (This has clearly been completed else you wouldn't actually be reading this right now)
  19. Meet HALSEY (See previous posts for conformation of completion)
  20. Get a Calum follow on twitter (purely to do bad things)
  21. Get Michael to follow Amy
So yeah that's it, like I said a lot are small silly things and some are a bit more than that. I really do hope to accomplish all of these and more because I'm sure I'll add more as the year goes on. Did you make any goals for the year? Or do you plan to now? Let me know if you want!
